Free GPRS in Airtel (Prepaid and postpaid) in mobile and as well as in ur PC
AS EVRYBDY KNOW HOW TO USE FREE GPRS ON AIRTEL...AND YES IT WORKS GREAT ON PREPAID AND POSTPAID....SO IM POSTING THE WHOLE PROCEDURE IM USING......
Setting up connection (on mobile)
1. Make two access points with different names, say 'A' & 'B'
2. Keep different homepages in both the access points and all other settings be the same
3. Connect with ur netfront or opera using first access point ( Say A)
4. Open services and connect with ur second access point (say
5. Go back to netfront and u will see u can open any site
BY THESE SETTING U CAN USE NET ON MOBILE ONLY NOW TO USE NET ON THE PC PLZ FOLLOW THESE STEP..
1. Set the proxy and port in the connections option of your browser as follows
proxy: 100.1.200.99
port: 8080
* This need not be done every time since u save it
2. In the "Phone n Modem options" in the control panel goto Modems and select your phone modem
Click properties and click diagnostics. Click 'Query Modem'. This is to check whether the modem is detected.
Now in the "Advanced" tab enter as below
AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" (For Nokia 6630 and some other models)
If this code doesn't work try entering the code as follows
AT+CGDCONT=x,"IP","airtelfun.com" where x is the position occupied by your airtellive
connection in the connections list. If it is first then x=1 and so on.
* This also need not be done every time since u save it
3. Now dial using the number *99***x# where x is the number as before.
For some phones like nokia 6630 *99# will be enough.
Now the connection gets simply established.
4. Now take the Web program in your phone and check whether the connection setting currently in use is the
same airtellive connection. Open up a site "other than" Airtellive home page. After some time the
connection will say "access denied".
