As a MacBook Pro user, I always feel the need of the integrated internet connectivity hardware in it so that I can remain connected to internet anytime anywhere without keeping any extra device with me like Mi-Fi or 3G USB. I am pretty sure that this is something all the MacBook users will wish to have in their devices. Images of a prototype of MacBook Pro which has built in 3G data modem have been leaked out. The MacBook Pro in these images also have a SIM slot in it and it has a 15″ screen.
Sim module in the MacBook Pro images means that Apple used the GSM 3G technology instead of using the CDMA.
In this Prototype, the 3G connector is not working and can only be seen by operating system. Although Apple haven’t given any sign of such kind of a project, these images means that something like this must be in development phase or at least in pipeline of the devices to be launched in near future.
It is also Apple’s tradition that the company always uses red motherboard in its prototype and then blue in the final version. There is still no news about the launch of such kind of MacBook Pro, but this would really be a revolutionary product if Apple launch it.
